WHO WE ARE
The Legion of Mary is an organization of Catholic men and women who demonstrate and deepen their devotion to Mary through prayer and good works. Having begun in Ireland in 1921 there are now more than 1.5 million members in all parts of the world. There are two types of membership: Active and Auxiliary.
WHAT WE DO
The Legion of Mary performs many works of prayer and service, including
- Evangelization
- Visiting the sick and elderly
- Bringing Holy Communion to the home and hospital bound
- Religious education
- Praying the rosary before all funerals
