EDGE: Grades 6 – 8

Great things are happening here at St. Steven’s! We are excited to implement EDGE Middle School ministry beginning in August 2012.

EDGE is an interactive model of faith formation for middle school students that incorporates traditional education with modern models of learning such as small group discussions and experiential prayer dynamics. EDGE seeks to deepen a middle school student’s understanding of their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

EDGE is for youth in grades 6-8. EDGE meets on Wednesday evenings from 5:00-6:30pm in the Great Hall during the school year. EDGE is open to any middle school student who is interested in making friends and diving deeper into his/her Catholic faith.

Church Closing Schedule

Due to scheduled renovations, our church sanctuary will be closed beginning Wednesday, 15 May 2013 and will remain closed for approximately 8 to 10 weeks. During this period, we will be moving all the needs to assist with daily and weekend Masses, baptisms, weddings, and funerals to the Great Hall and utilizing the foyer, JB II Room, and classrooms 3 & 4. CONFESSIONS WILL BE HEARD IN JBII Room located down the hallway from the Great Hall. Seating for those waiting in the confession line will be provided. The Confession schedule HAS CHANGED to: Saturday at 2:30 pm and by appointment. For further information contact our parish office 480.895.9266.
